That sounds... like something I would do. [He concedes, not quite laughing, but coughing an amused sound. Remembering his room, and his brother, and school, and the notable gaps in things, the shapes of some of those gaps... That's one thing. Recalling the details in those gaps...

...Breaks take longer, if you have to solve a puzzle to take them. As grabs for attention go, I think you'll agree, it was a work of early genius.

[If not the same type of genius that - he's pretty sure - was normally celebrated in that place. That feeling of left out and science not being for him, he's remembering afresh as they talk. But he can laugh about it, from this many years distant.]
