[Sans has no idea what kind of response to expect from Papyrus. He's thought up plenty of worst-case scenarios, of course, but now that it's happening he accepts the controlled surprise without any suspicion, for once. Papyrus can react however he wants; Sans kept this from him, after all. Now that he's said it, that it's out there, all he can do is just--answer the question. His voice drops to a more distant monotone. It's not the voice he uses sometimes when he's trying to frighten someone, but it bounces around his skull in a similar way. Sans has always used magic to talk, after all; this is just what it sounds like when he drops pitch and tone entirely.]
