So, two things happen:

First of all, you can feel this instantly, the Force Distrust has no effect. Or . . . at least, it doesn't have a noticeable one? No outrageously good or bad luck happens, the forest just continuing to go all wonky, like a computer experiencing a blue screen of death.

Second, and much more distressing? The creature is now looking directly at Papyrus. The moment he casts the spell, its head swivels around almost 180 degrees.

Things are going to get a little upsetting now.

With another shriek, the creature launches itself at Papyrus with incredible speed. It's coming from...in front of him? No, behind him. It's everywhere. Thankfully, what happens next is over very fast, but it's going to hurt a lot first. Papyrus has the sensation of something . . . well, it sure does feel like it's ripping his face off, doesn't it? But then, it's numb. Everything is numb.

Papyrus wakes up at the edge of the regular Foggy Forest. Everything feels a little . . . off. He'll be able to stand up well enough, move around. The pain from his face is gone, but that's not the only thing missing.

His actual face is also gone.

In its place are glitches as you'd see around the island. He can see, speak, smell fine. But his face just isn't there. For the next few hours, he may find himself uncertain of who he is, even beyond the amnesia. What kind of person is he? Who is Papyrus? Nothing feels right.

Fortunately, when this wears off, his facial features will return. Nothing else is wrong with him! Not a single injury.
