[Early in this span of time, a skeleton visits the deep Foggy Forest. He enters despite the warnings of... strange happenings. Glitches, decay...? with a canine familiar at his side, in search of... something. To brag about. Uncover mysteries, maybe. Face dangerous foes, maybe.
...It's all a little unclear, right now. Later the same day, a skeleton wakes at the edge of the foggy forest. No canine at his side, no excitement over his discoveries. No face on his skull. A shifting mass of glitches where other people have faces.
Something happened in the forest, didn't it? And the skeleton didn't like it, he thinks. He stands, eventually. Walks away from the forest, whatever happened there, vaguely in the direction of the cafe and boardwalk.
Most of the Animalians give him a wide berth - it's alarming to see someone's face glitching that way, and they're not sure if it's catching. But he isn't moving with any hostile intent, unlike the glitch-faced entities beyond the Gilded Wall, so they let him pass. He doesn't think he's hostile. He... doesn't think. Who is he? Papyrus, wasn't it...? What's a Papyrus?
He moves vacantly through the area, stopping at the cafe's edge to dangle his feet in the water and stare at the rippling reflection without a face.]
