It's the standard Bureau-issued bundle, albeit with some reorganization going on - some things left behind, other things added. He takes a minute digging through and considering various items - crowbar, unlit torch, and so on - before cackling in realization and triumphant.
"Nyeh heh heh! Phew! For a minute, I was worried this might be a challenge," he admits, lifting a lens by its handle. "I can see in the dark... but only the normal amount. Barely at all. But this is magic! So Those dark patches are no obstacle."
Of course, what he can see through the lens is blurry at best, until surfaces are within 2cm of the lens. But that doesn't stop him from grabbing his rope and tying it around the handle, and then his wrist.
