It isn't that Lola isn't taken with what Christine and Rose have to say; no, it's just that what Michael says needs immediate attention.
Lola's shoulders slack, an eyebrow raises, and the very large cow woman lets out a laugh.
"Why, we've never tried that. I wonder how it would go," she comments, her voice dripping with sarcasm.
"That wall has been up for a hundred years we've been well aware of all the useful, viable land behind it has behind it. We've tried everything we could. If you're asking a question like that I'm sure you haven't met the Cursed that escaped the wall."
Lola begins to describe the very Face-Stealer that Papyrus faced and spoke about on the network, though of course she doesn't know of his meeting with the beast. She recounts its ability to disorient people and the number of lives it's taken-- a number drastically lower than the number taken by what Lola describes as a form-copying Cursed monster. They're quite dangerous, and beyond that wall are hundreds if not thousands of monsters just like them.
They are pure necrotic energy as far as anyone's been able to discern on the Island, and that's why the wall performs as it has for your friend's recording. It's radiant energy.
But to answer Christine's question... no, no one Lola's spoken to seems to understand quite why that wall is weakening, nor has her research given her any reason why. Maybe it's because they still tried to find a way to get rid of the Cursed, or perhaps it's simply because the magic used to make the wall had a time limit.
Now, if they'd like to help teach the dance, Lola is willing to see what they can do. She'll teach it to their team in the morning, if they have the time-- or even tonight if they'd prefer. But then she wants to see how many people on their Silver-wristed team they can teach to cast this spell. If they can demonstrate they're able to teach their own friends this dance, then she'll trust them to teach the other animalians alongside her.
