Would you look at that, folks, it's the Rule of Three! When a big narrative action is taken, sometimes it has to happen three times for the desired and expected action to take effect!

That is to say, Maya barely needs the boost from Mista. (DC 13; +1 CHA, +1 animal advantage, +2 silver tongue = 15 + 4 = 19) The wolf magitech beast tilts its head at wolf!Maya and then trots up to her. It's a little funny, since it's so much bigger than she is, but after a sniff or two, it leans its head in, gives a small yip, and...very lightly nibbles at Maya's ear.

Fun wolf fact! In the wild, wolves show affection to each other by nibbling on each other, soft enough so it doesn't cause injury. Since Maya's so used to being a wolf, she'd probably know this...right?

Nick Junior's rocking aerial maneuvers catch the wolf's eye and its ears perk up. (DC 9; 18) Its wagging tail indicates it loves the performance.

The KV techs observing are baffled! She barely did anything, but suddenly one of their beasts has really taken to Maya! Maybe they need to reconsider letting her work with repairs...

Congratulations, Maya. You've made a new friend.
