Nice one, Papyrus! This time, Force Distrust doesn't kick him in the butt nearly as hard. (DC 11; 12) His metaphorical metacarpals crinkle reality into just enough of a mess that he's flung sideways, from the deep dark tunnel of fast currents into one that zigs and zags away until its current is slow and swimmable, even for a skeleton.
Unfortunately, it's still pretty dark, but Papyrus has the Hand Lens to solve that problem. Good thing, too, because this tunnel seems pretty; once it straightens out, it's clear that the end is far out of sight in the distance, a pinprick of light in the dark.
But wait. There's one other thing to look at, Papyrus will notice, in the boring expanse of darkness and the occasional rock formation. On the left side of the tunnel, almost as far as the light at the end, is another, dimmer light, a blueish flicker that seems somehow artificial.
What do you say, Papyrus? Get back right away or check that weird light out?
(As a side note, with two uses of Force Distrust under his belt, Papyrus will begin experiencing side effects if he uses it again during this arc!)
