Everyday I dream of a future where I can be with you...
[Yuri isn’t exactly sure how those lyrics come to her mind. How she sings it, so softly, under her breath so no one else can hear her utter the words. She’s not the musical one and the song doesn’t belong to her so she is still unsure how the lyrics come to the surface of her mind. But they are there like a picture she can’t erase and a feeling that tucks under her bones.
She’s near the water, watching the tide wash in and out of this strange island that she has so many questions for. With everything that has been surrounding them, she finds she might be selfish for asking the other girls to come to see her. But there is one thing that has been hanging over Yuri since the start of this entire journey that she just wants to be done. This issue inside of her head that echoes over and over which makes some days harder than others and her friendships even worse.
She’s tired.
Of watching Natsuki’s expression change to a thin sad frown when Yuri thinks she might have said or done something strange. Of Sayori’s effort to smile when she doesn’t fully remember or understand something about Yuri when she speaks or writes to her. And of the tension between her and Monika—this never-ending circle of tightness around her heart because of what happened.
Is it selfish of her to ask them to help her? To ask them to help her find the normalcy between the four of them again? She doesn’t have anyone else she can turn to. So she wonders if her request is selfish or out of place. Much like many thoughts in her head.
... Yet, they don’t have much time left to find the answers. So, she waits for them on the beach where the tide continues to wash up and down the shoreline-- never changing.]

[There's a small glance at Monika before she settles with her hands folded neatly at her skirt.]
Thank you for coming... I know it's been busy.
[They're still recovering from their last journey, after all... She glances back at Sayori and then at Natsuki with a small sigh of nervousness.]
I wanted to ask you for... something important. [...] Some help with something that's ... wrong with me.

You're... talking about what we spoke about before right? What I did...?
[ She glances at the other two before looking at the ground. ]
The powers I had in the game... they're gone since we're not in the game anymore. But even still... I want to help however I can! It's not right to leave you like this Yuri.
[ She rubs her arm uncomfortably. ]
I'm sorry... I'll really do what I can...

Sayori lifts a hand to her head, gaze briefly going distant as Monika's words shake something loose in her mind. She'd remembered— she remembered what she saw in Wonderland a while ago, but that wasn't the whole picture. She remembered having to tell Yuri and Natsuki about the nature of their world, but not the actual conversation. Something inside of her had been resisting the details. Some fearful compulsion to look away from the truth.
But it dug at her while she worked on KV. She couldn't afford to lose her concentration and focus on it then. But she remembers now.
If Yuri wants those memories back with her whole heart, and will keep fighting for them no matter what— then we might be able to fix it.
That's why she had that long technomancy dissertation. Why she knew so much about how to go through KV's programming. It was because of this. She promised to fix this.
She remembers so much at once that it's disorienting, and she squeezes her eyes shut against it and shakes her head like that will clear it. She follows up on Monika's question, trying to clarify and confirm the information coming back to her:] There's stuff in your head that's missing, right? Stuff that got messed up...?
